About Dave Martinez

This is the blog of Dave Martinez, an IT solutions provider at MNJ Technologies in Buffalo Grove, IL.  MNJ Technologies is a technology provider for medium/large business’, SLED and healthcare.  In this space I’m going to share what I have learned, what I am learning and some info that smacked me over the head by accident. I have a copious interactions with IT product, vendors, manufacturers and updates, so it only seems fair that I should share this information with those who may wish to hear about it.

As for me, after a previous life as a Marriage and Family Therapist, I decided to take my passion for helping people find the best solutions in a different direction: IT Sales. As an Account Manager at CDW, both in the small business and enterprise space I was able to hone my skills as a solution provider. Now at MNJ, I’m able to take the skills I learned at CDW and go even further by providing total wraparound services for my customers (larger product portfolio, greater accessability into the channel, extended reach with on-site/remote consultants, and complete control over pricing).

I am a newly wed who recently married Krissy, my girlfriend of many (too many if you ask her) years. We live in Chicago, specifically 1/2 block away from my other love, the Cubs and Wrigley Field. As of last year, I am a marathon runner (or crawler) and I am attempting another half and full marathon this summer (for more details see my running blog, “Dave and Running” available in the blogroll).
